How it plays

How does Alien vs. Predator play?

The game is a side-scrolling cooperative beat 'em up for up to three players. Players advance through linear stages, defeating waves of Xenomorphs, Facehuggers, synthetic soldiers, and large bosses while moving through colony and industrial environments.

Each character combines normal attacks, jumping attacks, special moves, and character-specific weapons. Weapons and items can be collected during stages, and health-restoring food helps sustain a run. Progression is stage-based rather than experience-based, with new enemy formations and boss encounters providing the main escalation.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Alien vs. Predator?

Stay mobile and avoid being surrounded, especially by Xenomorphs attacking from multiple heights. Use jumping attacks to control airborne enemies and save powerful weapons for dense groups or bosses.

Learn each character’s reach and special attack timing. In multiplayer, divide enemy attention instead of attacking the same target, and prioritize Facehuggers and other enemies that can interrupt a partner.
