How it plays

How does Andro Dunos play?

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective. The ship moves through a sequence of stages, destroys enemies and environmental targets, collects weapon items, and reaches a boss at the end of each stage.

Several weapons can be upgraded by collecting matching power-ups. The player can switch between available weapons and use a bomb for emergency screen-clearing damage. Holding the shot button charges a stronger attack, while losing a life reduces the ship's power level.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Andro Dunos?

Stay near the center of the play area so you have room to react to enemies entering from either side of the screen. Learn which weapon is most useful for each stage rather than spending every power-up immediately.

Save bombs for dense bullet patterns, sudden enemy rushes, or boss attacks that are difficult to read. Recovering after a death is safer when you prioritize survival over collecting every item.
