The game uses a vertical viewpoint. The player pilots a combat aircraft upward through a sequence of scrolling stages, destroying airborne enemies, ground installations, and stage bosses while avoiding bullets and collisions.

Movement is controlled with an arcade joystick, while the shot button provides the main attack and a separate bomb button supplies a powerful emergency attack. Progress depends on surviving each stage, collecting useful power-ups, defeating bosses, and managing limited lives and bombs.

Stay near the lower portion of the screen so incoming bullets leave more time to react. Concentrate on enemy formations before they complete their attack patterns, and avoid chasing every item if doing so places the aircraft in danger.

Save bombs for dense bullet patterns, difficult mid-stage encounters, or boss attacks that cannot be safely read. Learn when enemies enter from the sides and use short movements rather than constant sweeping to maintain control.
