Beavis
One of the two playable teenagers. He is impulsive, destructive, and obsessed with immature humor and heavy metal.
How it plays
The game uses a side-scrolling perspective. Beavis and Butt-Head travel through hazardous stages, search for useful objects, fight enemies, and solve straightforward environmental problems while trying to recover concert tickets.
Levels are built from platforming sections and exploration areas. The player moves through each location, avoids hazards, uses available items, and progresses toward the stage objective. Success depends more on careful navigation and experimentation than on complex combat.
Plan your run
Search each area carefully before moving on; useful objects and the route forward may not be immediately obvious.
Avoid unnecessary fights when possible. Learn enemy timing, conserve health, and use environmental objects rather than repeatedly trading hits.
Meet the cast
One of the two playable teenagers. He is impulsive, destructive, and obsessed with immature humor and heavy metal.
Beavis's companion and the other playable teenager. He is sarcastic, lazy, and usually treats their misadventures as entertainment.
Beavis and Butt-Head is a 1994 Sega Genesis action-platform game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Viacom New Media. Based on the MTV animated series, it follows the two teenagers as they try to reach a GWAR concert after losing their tickets. The game combines side-scrolling exploration, platforming, simple combat, and object-based puzzles across cartoon-inspired stages. Players control both characters together rather than selecting a conventional solo hero. Its humor, crude presentation, and recognizable television setting attracted fans of the series, while contemporary reception was mixed because of repetitive action, awkward controls, and uneven challenge.
