How it plays

How does Blood Bros. play?

The action is viewed from a fixed, forward-facing perspective. Players move their character around the lower portion of the screen while firing at enemies, projectiles, animals, and destructible objects across each stage.

Stages advance through set-piece encounters and culminate in boss battles. Players can use bombs for emergency screen-clearing attacks, while movement and careful timing help avoid incoming fire. A two-player mode allows the cowboy and Native American protagonists to fight together.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Blood Bros.?

Keep moving while firing; stationary play makes the character an easy target for concentrated enemy attacks.

Prioritize enemies that throw projectiles or enter from the sides, and save bombs for dense formations, difficult ambushes, or boss patterns. In two-player games, spread out enough to cover both sides without blocking each other’s movement.
