Blue
The hero of Raguy who sets out to stop the invading Darc Seed and rescue the kingdom.
How it plays
Blue's Journey uses a side-view perspective and presents a sequence of horizontally scrolling stages. The main objective is to move through each area, defeat or avoid enemies, collect items, and reach the end-of-stage encounter.
Blue can jump across platforms, attack nearby threats, and acquire temporary or weapon-changing power-ups. Levels contain hazards, hidden areas, and occasional route choices. The arcade version supports one or two players, with the second player controlling a differently colored Blue.
Plan your run
Learn enemy patterns before committing to jumps, especially in crowded sections and near moving hazards.
Collect power-ups when safe, but avoid reckless movement after taking damage. Explore alternate paths when possible, since route choices can change the difficulty and available items.
In two-player games, spread out to avoid blocking one another and keep one player clear to handle recovery after a mistake.

Before you begin
Treat unfamiliar platforms and hazards cautiously; the game rewards memorizing stage layouts.
Use attacks to control nearby enemies before attempting difficult jumps.
Cooperative play can make crowded sections easier, but careless movement can still cause collisions and lost lives.
Blue's Journey is a side-scrolling action platformer developed by ADK and published by SNK for arcade systems in 1991. The player controls Blue, a young hero defending the peaceful kingdom of Raguy from the invading Darc Seed. Stages combine traditional platforming with enemy encounters, collectible items, branching routes, and environmental hazards. Blue can attack, jump, and use power-ups that alter his offensive abilities. The game is notable for its bright visual style, whimsical setting, and cooperative two-player support on compatible arcade cabinets. Contemporary and later reception has generally recognized it as an entertaining but demanding Neo Geo-era platformer, especially for its colorful presentation and route variety.
