The loaded Sega Genesis mapping takes priority over generic labels.
How it plays
Move through side-scrolling streets, punch and grab enemies, pick up rocks, posts, cars, and other objects, and defeat waves of opponents and bosses. The Japanese version is the source for the later western title Two Crude Dudes, but has its own text and naming.
Plan your run
Use grabbed scenery objects to control crowds, throw objects before enemies surround you, and reserve stronger weapons for bosses. Watch the edges of the screen, learn each character's reach, and save before a difficult area when supported.
Crude Buster is the Japanese Mega Drive port of Data East's post-apocalyptic arcade beat-em-up, developed by ISCO and Opera House and released in Japan in 1992. In the devastated future, two fighters cross ruined New York and use almost anything in the scenery as a weapon.
