How it plays
Matches take place on a single two-dimensional plane. Each fighter has light, medium, and heavy punches and kicks, along with throws, special moves, and character-specific supernatural techniques.
The single-player game follows a sequence of battles that leads to the bosses Huitzil and Pyron. Players can also fight another participant in versus mode. A life bar, timer, and round victories determine the result; the game includes air movement and defensive techniques that make positioning and timing important.
Plan your run
Learn the normal attack strengths and special-move ranges of one character before trying to use the whole cast. Use jumping attacks carefully, since anti-air attacks and character-specific air options can quickly punish predictable approaches.
In single-player mode, conserve life by controlling distance and confirming attacks before committing to long special-move sequences. In versus play, watch the opponent's movement habits, punish missed attacks, and use the guard, throw, and air systems together rather than relying on one tactic.

Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors is a 1994 arcade fighting game developed and published by Capcom. Known in Japan as Vampire: The Night Warriors, it presents a supernatural tournament involving vampires, werewolves, golems, mummies, demons, and other creatures. Matches use a traditional two-dimensional fighting format, but the cast has distinctive movement abilities and exaggerated character animation. Players choose one fighter, defeat opponents in a single-player ladder, or challenge another person locally. The game was well received for its expressive animation, energetic presentation, and creative mechanics, and it established the Darkstalkers/Vampire series as one of Capcom's notable arcade fighting franchises.
