Players control passing, shooting, dribbling, rebounding, steals, and defensive movement. Games are built around standard basketball possessions, while longer play structures provide progression beyond a single exhibition-style contest.

Use passing to move the defense before attempting a shot, and avoid forcing passes into crowded lanes. Establishing an inside presence with Robinson can create higher-percentage opportunities and draw defenders away from perimeter shooters.

On defense, stay between the ball handler and the basket, switch carefully, and pursue rebounds instead of immediately running up court. Controlling tempo and limiting turnovers is generally more reliable than attempting constant steals.
