How it plays

How does El Viento play?

El Viento is viewed from the side and played as a single-player sequence of action stages. Annet runs, jumps, attacks with her boomerang-like weapon, and uses magic while navigating platforms, ladders, hazards, and enemies.

Stages generally end with a boss or major encounter. Progression comes from clearing levels, learning enemy patterns, collecting useful items, and managing magic resources rather than from a conventional experience system.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play El Viento?

Learn enemy patterns before committing to attacks, especially in narrow platforms and moving sections. Keep moving during regular encounters; Annet's mobility is often safer than standing in one place.

Conserve magic for bosses and dangerous groups. Against bosses, prioritize survival and identify safe attack windows rather than trying to defeat them quickly.
