How it plays

How does Fighter's History play?

Matches use a side-view arena and pit two fighters against each other. The objective is to deplete the opponent's life bar before the round timer expires. Players move, jump, crouch, block, throw, use normal attacks, and perform special techniques.

A tournament route links opponents through successive matches, while two-player play supports direct competition. Each fighter has a vulnerable accessory or body area; attacking it enough times breaks the item, briefly stunning the owner. Winning rounds and matches advances the player through the arcade ladder.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Fighter's History?

Learn the weak point of the opposing fighter and target it with safe repeated attacks. Breaking the item can interrupt pressure and gives you time to start a combo or reposition.

Use blocking and spacing rather than attacking continuously. Preserve special-move meter and avoid predictable jumps, especially against characters with strong anti-air attacks.

For arcade progression, study each opponent's preferred range and punish recovery after missed heavy attacks or special moves.

A distinctive early arcade fighter whose weak-point mechanic gives its matches a clear tactical identity.
