How it plays
How does Flying Shark play?
The game uses a top-down perspective with continuous vertical scrolling. The objective is to survive each stage, destroy enemies and ground targets, collect power-ups, and defeat the end-of-stage boss.
The fighter can move in eight directions, fire continuously, and deploy bombs to clear threats or damage enemies. Stages combine airborne formations, fixed targets, turrets, terrain hazards, and boss encounters. Progression is based on reaching later stages and improving the fighter's firepower while preserving lives and bombs.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Flying Shark?
Stay near the lower portion of the screen, where incoming threats are easier to read, but keep moving to avoid aimed fire and crossing formations.
- Save bombs for dense bullet patterns, dangerous enemy entrances, and boss attacks.
- Prioritize fast-moving aircraft and turrets before slower ground targets.
- Learn stage entrances and boss patterns; memorization is important at higher difficulty.
- Collect weapon power-ups when the route is safe, but do not take unnecessary risks for them.
