How it plays
How does Heavy Barrel play?
The player views the battlefield from above and advances through a sequence of scrolling combat areas. The objective is to defeat enemy soldiers, turrets, vehicles, and other hazards while locating keys and collecting the parts required to assemble the Heavy Barrel.
Players move in eight directions, fire their standard weapon, throw grenades, and pick up temporary weapons or equipment. Cooperative play is available for up to three players on supported arcade hardware. Lives and continues determine how far a player can progress during a credit.

What is the best way to play Heavy Barrel?
Keep moving instead of holding one position, especially when enemies enter from multiple directions. Sweep side paths and corners for keys, weapon pickups, and Heavy Barrel components.
Save grenades and special weapons for dense groups, armored targets, and dangerous screen sections. In multiplayer, spread out enough to cover entrances but avoid separating so far that one player is overwhelmed.
