Hulk
The player-controlled superhero. Hulk relies on physical strength, close-range attacks, and powerful movement to survive each stage.
How it plays
The game uses a two-dimensional side-scrolling perspective. The objective is to move through each stage, defeat enemies, avoid hazards, and reach the end-of-level encounter.
The Hulk can walk, jump, attack, and interact with selected objects. Combat depends on positioning and timing, while platform sections require careful movement around gaps and obstacles. Stages progress linearly, with increasingly dangerous enemies and boss encounters leading toward the final confrontation.
Plan your run
Learn enemy attack patterns before committing to close-range attacks. The Hulk is powerful, but taking repeated hits can quickly drain his health.
Use jumps carefully around pits and elevated platforms, and clear nearby enemies before advancing into unfamiliar areas. Save any available recovery opportunities for sections immediately before difficult encounters.

Hulk's recurring comic-book nemesis and the central antagonist pursued during the adventure.
Before you begin
Stay close enough to enemies to control the exchange, but avoid attacking blindly into groups.
Check the edges of platforms before jumping; some hazards are difficult to see while moving quickly.
Treat boss encounters as pattern-recognition challenges rather than rushing forward.
The Incredible Hulk is a side-scrolling action game developed by Probe Entertainment and published by U.S. Gold for the Sega Genesis in 1994. It casts the player as the Hulk, who fights through hostile environments while searching for the Leader and confronting other threats from Marvel's comic-book world. The game combines beat 'em up combat with platforming, requiring players to punch, kick, jump, and use the Hulk's strength against enemies and parts of the scenery. Its presentation follows the darker comic-book tone associated with the character, although the straightforward level design and repetitive combat received a mixed historical reception. The Hulk's large sprite and powerful attacks are distinctive, but the game is generally remembered as a modest licensed action title rather than a genre standout.
