How it plays

How does The Jungle Book play?

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective. Mowgli must reach the end of each stage while exploring branching areas, collecting useful objects, and surviving hazards and enemies.

Players move, jump across platforms, climb or traverse jungle terrain, and use available attacks to deal with threats. Stages are arranged as a linear progression through themed environments, with difficulty increasing as new hazards and enemies appear.

The objective is to complete each area and continue through the story. Exact scoring, item, and boss requirements can vary by stage.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play The Jungle Book?

Explore each area before moving on, since useful items and safer routes may be placed away from the main path.

Use short, controlled jumps around enemies and hazards rather than rushing. Learn enemy movement patterns, preserve health where possible, and approach unfamiliar screens cautiously.

  • Check platforms above and below the obvious route.
  • Avoid unnecessary fights when bypassing an enemy is safer.
  • Treat new terrain and scrolling sections as possible ambush points.
