How it plays

How does Jurassic Park play?

The game uses a side-scrolling perspective. As Dr. Grant, the player travels through jungle, laboratory, and park environments, collects weapons and ammunition, defeats dinosaurs, and searches for objectives while avoiding traps and hazards.

The Velociraptor campaign changes the action by focusing on movement and attacks at close range. Both campaigns use separate level progressions and require careful timing, exploration, and conservation of useful resources.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Jurassic Park?

Learn enemy patterns before committing to an attack, especially in narrow corridors and areas with multiple dinosaurs.

  • Conserve ammunition during the Grant campaign and explore side paths for useful supplies.
  • Use the Raptor’s mobility to avoid unnecessary encounters rather than fighting every enemy.
  • Approach jumps carefully; unfamiliar terrain often hides hazards or requires a precise landing.
