How it plays
Matches use a side-view, one-on-one format with rounds and a time limit. Players move, jump, block, perform normal attacks, use special techniques, and throw opponents while attempting to deplete the rival's life gauge.
The tournament proceeds through a sequence of character battles, with the final encounter providing the main single-player challenge. Each fighter has different speed, reach, strengths, and special moves. Striking a visible weak point can briefly remove an opponent's protective item and limit its benefit.
Plan your run
Learn the timing and range of each fighter's normal attacks before relying on special moves. Short jumps, blocking, and well-timed throws are safer than constant long-range attacks.
Watch for the opponent's visible weak point. Repeatedly hitting it can temporarily remove the associated item, creating a useful advantage. Save meter-based or especially strong techniques for confirmed openings rather than using them at random.

Before you begin
Use the weak-point system deliberately; it can change the matchup for a short time.

Practice anti-air attacks and throw timing against the computer.
Karnov's Revenge is a 1994 arcade fighting game developed and published by Data East. It is the international title of Fighter's History Dynamite, the follow-up to Fighter's History. The game presents a roster of martial artists competing in a traditional one-on-one tournament, with the returning strongman Karnov serving as the central challenge. Its play style combines six-button attacks, special moves, throws, and character-specific weak points that can be struck to temporarily disable an opponent's accessory. The game was regarded as a solid and technically improved sequel, although its close resemblance to Street Fighter II contributed to legal controversy surrounding the series.
