Players guide a chosen warrior through side-scrolling stages inspired by Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The objective is to clear enemy formations, survive hazards, collect useful items, and defeat each stage boss.

Combat combines basic attacks, jumps, directional movement, special techniques, and context-sensitive pickups. Progression follows an arcade stage route rather than a free-roaming map, with difficulty increasing through larger groups, stronger opponents, and more demanding boss patterns. Cooperative arcade play is supported.

Control the position of enemy groups before committing to long attacks. Staying near one side of the screen can reduce the number of directions from which ordinary enemies can surround you.

Save special techniques and powerful items for dense formations or bosses. Learn boss attack patterns, avoid trading damage unnecessarily, and coordinate targets with a second player when playing cooperatively.
