Guan Yu
A powerful Shu warrior known for his broad-reaching attacks and high damage.
How it plays
Players move through horizontally scrolling stages from a side-view perspective, defeating groups of enemies before advancing to the next encounter. Normal attacks can be combined with jumps, directional strikes, throws, and character-specific special moves.
The campaign follows a sequence of Three Kingdoms battles with boss encounters and item pickups. Food restores health, weapons and power-ups improve combat options, and cooperative arcade play allows two or more players depending on the cabinet configuration.
Plan your run
Learn enemy attack patterns before committing to long combos. Save health-restoring food for difficult encounters rather than using it immediately.
Use the environment and dropped weapons to control groups, and coordinate attacks with a second player so enemies cannot surround either character. Practice each warrior’s special moves, since their reach, speed, and crowd-control properties differ.

Knights of Valour is a side-scrolling arcade beat 'em up developed and published by Taiwan-based International Games System. Set during the Three Kingdoms period, it follows warriors fighting through armies of soldiers, officers, and supernatural enemies. The game supports cooperative play and emphasizes direct combat, weapon use, special attacks, and collectible items. Its stage-based structure is designed for short arcade sessions, while branching routes and multiple playable warriors add replay value. The game was well received in Asian arcades for its responsive combat, colorful presentation, and strong two-player action, and it became the first entry in a long-running IGS series.
