The game presents the road from a side-on perspective. The objective is to push through each course, avoid or destroy threats, and finish the race before the timer or vehicle endurance becomes critical.

Players steer their vehicle across uneven terrain, use jumps and ramps, and contend with opposing vehicles and environmental obstacles. Courses are divided into successive stages, with progress depending on surviving the route and maintaining enough momentum to continue. The arcade version supports single-player and cooperative two-player play.

Learn the rhythm of each course before attempting fast runs. Keep the vehicle stable over jumps, avoid unnecessary collisions, and use attacks when they create a clear opening rather than slowing the vehicle in a crowded section.

In two-player games, coordinate movement through narrow areas and share attention between hazards and opponents. Repeated practice is especially useful because route knowledge and timing matter more than long-term character progression.
