How it plays

How does Liquid Kids play?

The game uses a side-view platform perspective. Hipopo moves across single-screen or compact scrolling stages, jumps between platforms, avoids hazards, and reaches the exit after dealing with enemies.

Water shots can trap or manipulate certain enemies, create temporary advantages, and interact with environmental objects. Players collect fruit and other bonuses, clear themed areas, and eventually face larger boss enemies. The arcade structure emphasizes learning enemy behavior, conserving safe positions, and repeating stages to improve performance.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Liquid Kids?

Use water shots to control enemy movement before committing to a jump or narrow passage. Avoid rushing into groups; compact stages often reward waiting for a safe opening.

Collect bonuses when the route is secure, but prioritize survival near hazards and bosses. Learn which enemies can be trapped, pushed, or otherwise affected by water, then use those interactions to create safer paths.
