How it plays

How does Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter play?

Matches are viewed from a side-on 2D perspective. Choose a team of two characters, defeat both members of the opposing team, and manage each fighter's health while the inactive partner gradually recovers some life.

Each character uses three punches and three kicks, normal attacks, special moves, throws, jumping attacks, and super combos. The active fighter can call the partner for a limited assist, and tagging changes the matchup and preserves tactical options. Arcade progression consists of successive battles followed by a final boss encounter.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter?

Build teams whose strengths cover one another. A fast character can create openings while a heavier partner converts those openings into high damage.

Use assists to interrupt pressure, extend combos, or control a jump-in, but do not call a partner carelessly because the assist can be hit. Tag during safer moments so a damaged character can recover life.

Save super meter for confirmed attacks, reversals, or a tag-team combination. Learn each character's launcher, air chain, special-cancel routes, and most reliable anti-air before attempting advanced combinations.
