How it plays
Matches use a side-view format with one-on-one rounds. Players select a fighter, defeat opponents in a tournament route, and face increasingly difficult battles before confronting the final boss.
Each character has light, medium, and heavy punches and kicks, normal throws, special moves, and combinations. Air attacks, dashes, crouching attacks, blocking, and character-specific abilities are central to controlling space and opening an opponent's guard.
The game adds selectable fighting styles, including Normal, Turbo, and Duo modes. Turbo increases the pace, while Duo allows two characters to fight together under special rules. Winning matches progresses through the arcade ladder rather than through a story-driven exploration mode.
Plan your run
Learn the spacing and attack range of the selected character before relying on special moves. Normal attacks and jumping attacks are often safer ways to establish pressure than repeatedly using projectiles.
Use blocking, crouching, and air movement to avoid predictable approaches. Save meter for reliable special or combination attacks, and pay attention to the opponent's recovery after a missed heavy move.
