Use the mounted positional gun to shoot attackers, tanks, helicopters, and other threats, deploy grenades, protect hostages, and complete the forward- and side-scrolling missions. Start with the set's own title and instruction screens because older regional data can alter prompts or timing.

What is the best way to play Operation Thunderbolt (US, older)?
Keep the crosshair moving toward the next high-risk target, use the grenade button when a group cannot be cleared safely with bullets, and avoid damaging hostages or the pilot. Keep older-US score and mission notes separate from the later US set.
