How it plays
How does Over Top play?
Races are viewed from an elevated isometric perspective. The objective is to pass checkpoints and complete each course before the countdown reaches zero. Cars can leave the main road, but rough terrain and obstacles reduce speed and make recovery more difficult.
Players steer through turns, use acceleration and braking to control momentum, and exploit shortcuts or safer lines when available. Solo play emphasizes time management, while two-player play adds direct competition. Progression is based on clearing successive stages rather than upgrading a persistent vehicle.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Over Top?
Learn the layout of each course before chasing fast times. Brake before tight corners rather than entering them at maximum speed, and return to the road quickly after using off-road sections.
Save time by taking clean racing lines and avoiding collisions. In two-player races, consistent checkpoint timing is usually more valuable than risky shortcuts.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Use braking to settle the car before sharp turns.
- 2
Avoid unnecessary off-road driving because it costs speed.
- 3
Memorize checkpoint locations and difficult hazard sections.
