How it plays

How does Pang! 3 play?

Each stage is viewed from a fixed side-on perspective. Bubbles bounce around platforms and hazards, while the player moves horizontally and fires a vertical harpoon to split them. Large bubbles divide into smaller ones, increasing the danger until the smallest bubbles are removed.

The main objective is to clear every bubble without being hit. Stages introduce different platform layouts and obstacles, requiring players to choose safe firing positions and manage the timing of their movement. A limited-use bomb or special attack can provide an emergency way to remove threats, depending on the selected mode and arcade configuration.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Pang! 3?

Watch the bubble’s horizontal path before firing, and avoid standing directly beneath a large bubble unless the escape route is clear. A harpoon can create a temporary barrier, so positioning it near a platform edge can control where you move next.

Clear small bubbles deliberately rather than moving randomly. Save bombs for crowded situations or moments when the stage layout leaves little room to dodge, and learn the safest position for each recurring obstacle pattern.
