Players steer, accelerate, and brake while avoiding rival cars and roadside obstacles. Four selectable circuits provide different layouts and scenery. Passing cars and reaching checkpoints extend the available time, while collisions reduce speed and can waste valuable seconds. Progress is score- and time-based rather than divided into a persistent career mode.

Brake before tight corners instead of entering them at full speed, then accelerate as the car straightens.
