Lieutenant Mike Harrigan
The playable police lieutenant, based on Danny Glover’s character from the film.
How it plays
The game uses a side-scrolling perspective. Harrigan advances through linear stages, defeats hostile gangs and other enemies, collects weapons and ammunition, and reaches stage objectives or bosses.
Players can move, jump, fire, and fight at close range. Progression is based on clearing successive sections and using the most suitable weapon for each encounter; ammunition management is important because different weapons are effective at different distances.
Plan your run
Conserve ammunition for tougher enemies and bosses rather than using powerful weapons on ordinary gang members.
Keep moving in open areas, attack from a safe distance when possible, and learn enemy patterns before committing to close combat. Search each section for useful weapons and ammunition before advancing.

Predator 2 is a 1992 action game developed by Teeny Weeny Games and published by Acclaim Entertainment for the Sega Genesis. It adapts the film’s urban science-fiction premise, placing the player in control of Lieutenant Mike Harrigan during a violent gang war in near-future Los Angeles. The game combines side-scrolling shooting, platforming, close-range combat, and weapon collection. Harrigan moves through dangerous streets and interiors while confronting gang members, police threats, and Predator forces. Contemporary reception was mixed, with the licensed setting and varied weapons receiving attention, while difficulty, repetitive combat, and uneven presentation were common criticisms.
