How it plays
How does Rally-X play?
Each round places the player in a maze containing numbered flags. The objective is to collect every flag while staying alive; the round ends when all flags are taken or the car is destroyed.
The screen scrolls as the car moves, while a radar shows the positions of flags and enemies. Red cars pursue the player, and a smoke screen can temporarily block or disable an approaching enemy. Later rounds increase the pressure through denser layouts, faster enemies, and more demanding routes.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Rally-X?
Plan routes from the radar before entering narrow passages. Collect nearby flags first when possible, but avoid driving directly into groups of red cars.
Save smoke screens for intersections or dead ends where turning away is difficult. Keep moving through open space, and use the maze walls to force enemies into longer routes.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Watch the radar to anticipate enemy approaches.
- 2
Do not spend every smoke screen early in a round.
- 3
Use corners and narrow passages to separate pursuers.
