How it plays

How does Rock n' Roll Racing play?

Races are viewed from an isometric perspective. The objective is to complete the required laps, overtake opponents, and use weapons or track hazards to control the field. Drivers can accelerate, brake, steer, fire weapons, and deploy defensive equipment.

The championship progresses through increasingly difficult futuristic worlds and tracks. Prize money from races can be spent on engine, tire, armor, and weapon upgrades. A two-player mode supports competitive racing, while single-player events focus on earning enough money and points to advance.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Rock n' Roll Racing?

Upgrade the engine early enough to remain competitive, but do not neglect armor and tires. Armor helps absorb weapon damage, while tires improve control on difficult surfaces.

Learn the layout of each track and save offensive weapons for corners, bridges, and narrow sections. Mines are most useful where opponents have limited room to avoid them; missiles are better used when a rival is directly ahead.

In two-player races, defensive driving matters as much as speed. Avoid trading hits unnecessarily and use the outer edge of the track when it provides a cleaner line.
