How it plays

How does Shinobi Legions play?

Shinobi Legions is viewed from the side. Sho advances through linear stages, defeats ordinary soldiers and creatures, avoids hazards, and fights a boss at the end of major areas.

The player uses close-range sword attacks, thrown weapons, jumps, and directional movement. Stages emphasize memorizing enemy placements and selecting safe moments to attack. Progression is stage-based rather than character-level-based, with new areas unlocked by completing the current stage.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Shinobi Legions?

Learn enemy patterns before rushing forward. Most damage comes from attacking at close range, so approach one enemy at a time and keep enough room to retreat.

Conserve thrown weapons for enemies that are difficult to reach safely and for bosses. Against bosses, prioritize recognizing their attack cycles over constant offense; many openings are brief and predictable.
