How it plays
Each stage is a single-screen platform arena viewed from the side. The objective is to defeat every enemy, usually by covering enemies with snow and then rolling or striking the frozen snowballs into other foes.
Players move across platforms, jump over hazards, fire their character's attack, and advance through increasingly difficult rounds. Cooperative two-player play is supported, and bosses appear at the end of stage groups. The four playable characters have different attack characteristics, adding variety to repeated runs.
Plan your run
Control the pace of each screen instead of attacking randomly. Freeze enemies, then use the resulting snowballs to create chain reactions that clear several targets at once.
Keep an escape route open near platforms and avoid rolling snowballs before nearby enemies are safely controlled. In two-player mode, coordinate attacks so one player freezes enemies while the other prepares the chain.

Snow Bros. 2: With New Elves is a 1994 arcade action platformer developed and published by Toaplan. It follows the snow-throwing heroes from the original game while adding two playable elf characters and new stages. Players clear fixed single-screen areas by attacking enemies, freezing them, and rolling the resulting snowballs into other targets. The game supports cooperative play and emphasizes quick positioning, enemy control, and chain reactions rather than exploration. Its colorful presentation, compact levels, and accessible two-player design reflect the strengths of early-1990s arcade games. Reception has generally recognized it as a polished sequel with enjoyable cooperative action, although it is less widely remembered than the original Snow Bros.
