How it plays
The action is viewed from above and scrolls vertically. The objective is to destroy enemy formations, avoid bullets and collisions, collect power-ups, and defeat a boss at the end of each stage.
A run consists of several stages followed by increasingly difficult encounters. Each aircraft has its own shot pattern, special attack, and bomb behavior. Power items strengthen the main weapon, while bombs provide emergency screen-clearing or defensive effects. The game supports single-player and cooperative two-player arcade play.
Plan your run
Stay near the lower portion of the screen, but keep enough horizontal space to react to aimed bullets. Learn each boss's opening pattern before spending a bomb.

Strikers 1945 Plus is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up developed by Psikyo for arcade systems in 1999. It combines period-inspired fighter aircraft with science-fiction enemies, giving the series' military setting a deliberately exaggerated tone. Players choose an aircraft, fight through a sequence of compact stages, and defeat large mechanical bosses. The game is built around fast movement, dense bullet patterns, and repeated attempts to improve survival and score. It was well received in arcades for its responsive controls, distinctive aircraft, and demanding but readable attack patterns.
