Players move around the pitch, pass to teammates, attempt shots, and defend against attacks. Tournament play advances through a sequence of international matches, while versus play supports direct competition between players. Success depends on timing, positioning, and choosing when to pass or shoot rather than on complex formations.

Use short passes to move the defense before attempting a shot. A rushed shot from a poor angle is easier for the goalkeeper to stop.

Stay between the ball and your goal when defending, and switch quickly from defense to attack after winning possession. In tournament matches, learning opponent patterns is more useful than repeatedly relying on long shots.
