Choose Joe or Mac, move through prehistoric stages, jump across platforms, throw or swing primitive weapons at dinosaurs and rival tribesmen, and defeat the stage bosses. Collect weapon upgrades, manage lives, and progress through the route toward the final rescue objective.

Keep the character moving through enemy spacing, use the current weapon's range instead of approaching every enemy, and save stronger attacks for bosses. Learn the Japanese stage prompts and use cooperative play to cover opposite sides of the screen when the cabinet supports two players.
