How it plays

How does Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist play?

The game is viewed from a horizontal side-scrolling perspective. Players move through a sequence of stages, defeat groups of Foot Clan enemies, avoid hazards, and defeat a boss at the end of each area.

Each Turtle uses a distinctive weapon with different reach and attack characteristics. Players can walk, jump, attack, perform a special move, and use movement-based attacks such as jump attacks and throws. The game supports one-player and two-player cooperative modes, with progression occurring through fixed stages rather than an upgrade system.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist?

Learn the reach and timing of each Turtle's weapon before committing to a character. Donatello is useful for controlling space, while Raphael is strongest when enemies are kept close.

Use jump attacks and throws to interrupt dense groups, and avoid standing directly in front of multiple enemies. Save the special attack for crowded encounters or bosses rather than spending it on isolated Foot Clan soldiers.

In two-player mode, spread across the screen without separating so far that one player is surrounded. Focus attacks on one dangerous enemy at a time and coordinate special attacks during boss openings.
