How it plays
How does The Punisher play?
The game uses a side-view perspective and sends the player through linear streets, warehouses, hideouts, and other crime-infested locations. The objective is to defeat waves of gang members, collect weapons, and defeat a boss at the end of each stage.
Players move, jump, punch, kick, fire guns, and use objects found in the scenery. Weapons have limited ammunition, while health is restored through selected pickups. A second player can join as Nick Fury, and both characters progress through the same sequence of stages.

What is the best way to play The Punisher?
Prioritize armed enemies before engaging nearby melee attackers, since gunfire can remove health quickly. Pick up firearms and throwable objects whenever safe, but avoid wasting limited ammunition on weak enemies.
Keep moving while fighting groups and use jumps to escape being surrounded. In two-player mode, divide attention between opposite sides of the screen and save stronger weapons for bosses.
