How it plays
The game uses a side-on perspective. Players move through separate stages, defeat groups of Foot Clan enemies, avoid hazards, and fight bosses at the end of major sections.
Players can choose from multiple TMNT characters and allies, each with different attack reach, speed, and special-move characteristics. The core actions are walking, jumping, attacking, using special attacks, and interacting with enemies at close range. Cooperative multiplayer supports the arcade-style progression.
Plan your run
Learn the attack range and recovery time of the selected character before committing to long strings of attacks. Use jumping attacks to approach groups, then control the edge of the crowd so enemies cannot surround you.
Save special attacks for dense groups or dangerous bosses. In multiplayer, players should attack from opposite sides and avoid repeatedly striking the same target when another enemy is approaching.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Re-Revenge is a side-scrolling beat 'em up developed and published by Neofid Studios for the Sega Genesis. It presents an original adventure in which the Turtles and their allies fight Shredder's forces through urban streets, enemy hideouts, and other dangerous locations. The game is designed around arcade-style movement, close-range attacks, throws, special moves, and cooperative play. Its presentation deliberately follows the 16-bit style associated with Konami's earlier TMNT games while adding new stages and playable characters. Released in 2022 as a homebrew project, it received positive attention from retro-game players for its polished production, multiplayer support, and respectful use of the Genesis hardware.
