How it plays

How does WWF WrestleFest play?

Matches are viewed from a side-on perspective in a single arena rather than a traditional ring simulation. Players weaken opponents with strikes, grabs, throws, running attacks, and occasional objects or ring interactions before pinning them or otherwise winning the bout.

Tag Team mode uses partner assists and team-based matchups, while Royal Rumble mode places wrestlers into a larger elimination contest. Victories advance the player through increasingly demanding matches, with stamina, timing, and crowd-facing special attacks shaping progression.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play WWF WrestleFest?

Learn the timing of the basic strike and grapple rather than repeatedly attacking. A successful grab can create opportunities for throws, while running attacks are useful when an opponent is recovering.

In tag matches, avoid leaving the partner exposed for too long and use team positioning to control the arena. Against large wrestlers, attack after their missed moves and keep enough room to escape corners.
